HMR is a national contractor providing underground and surface DRILLING, MINING and RAISEBORING services to clients across Australia.

The Role 
We are currently seeking applications for self motivated, experienced underground Service crew
As apart of our Service Crew team, you'll be the underground all-rounder, keeping things running smoothly and safely. Reporting to the Mining Shift Supervisor.

If you are a reliable, self-motivated worker with underground service or construction experience, enjoy hands on work, and have a safety first attitude, we encourage you to apply. Experience in welding, oxy cutting, or underground mining is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Underground mining experience
• Install, repair, and maintain water, air, pump, electrical, and communication services
• Installing and repairing services and ventilation systems
• Building vent walls and installing cable bolts
• Assist with general underground operations as required

Desirable:

• Welding/Oxy cutting experience
• Airleg mining

Requirements / Qualifications

• Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
• Ability to meet pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol screening
• Police clearance (within 6 months)
• Manual Driver’s Licence
• First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
