Underground Diesel Fitters | Surface Workshop | FIFO ex Brisbane | $75-$85/hr

We're currently seeking experienced Underground Diesel Fitters for an ongoing FIFO opportunity with a well-established mining contractor.

This is a surface workshop-based role, carrying out maintenance and repairs on a fleet of underground mining equipment. If you've got strong UG mining experience and are looking for a long-term roster with excellent hourly rates, we'd love to hear from you.

What's on Offer

• FIFO from Brisbane
• Thursday to Thursday roster
• $75-$85 per hour (depending on experience)
• Ongoing opportunity with a reputable operation
• Surface workshop environment

Experience Required
We're looking for candidates with underground mining experience, ideally working on equipment such as:

• Epiroc MT65 trucks
• Sandvik DD421 development drills
• Sandvik LH517 loaders
• Sandvik TH550/TH663 or similar underground trucks
• Simba long-hole drills
• Normet underground equipment
• Boggers (1700 & 2900 series)

To Be Successful You Will Have

• Trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter / Heavy Diesel Mechanic
• Previous underground hard rock mining experience
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work safely in a team environment
• Current Australian Driver's Licence
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
