Job Description

Mechanic | FIFO, Qld | $50 - $60/hr (Field) or $40 - $50/hr (Workshop)

🛠️ Opportunity: Work on repairs and maintenance of drill rigs, support vehicles, generators, compressors, and more. A hands-on role for someone willing to tackle everything from bearings, brakes, and airbag issues to general upkeep. Major works are sent to OEMs.

🎓 Experience: Trade qualification not essential but welcomed. Must be able to fix stuff, not just replace it. Perfect for someone eager to learn and get involved in drill rig operations.

💰 Benefits: Field rates: $50 - $60/hr. Workshop rates: $40 - $50/hr (casual). Flexible rosters: 21 days on, 8 days off, or even-time in the workshop. Brisbane-based role with exposure to varied equipment and industries.
