Traffic Controller

About the role:

Equipped Traffic are looking for experienced and self-motivated experienced Traffic Controllers to join our growing team. Due to ongoing growth we have multiple positions available.

These are casual positions with a January start.

To be successful in this role you will have the following experience.

• Traffic Controller experience (minimum 1 year)
• Implement and monitor operational Traffic Management Plans
• Complete site hazard assessments and implement control measures
• Load and unload vehicles with signage and equipment
• Control traffic, pedestrians, and cyclists past or around workers.
• Controlling and directing traffic, including the use of Stop/Slow
• Placing and maintaining traffic control devices such as signs, barriers and lights
• Providing excellent customer service to clients and the general public
• Adhering to all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations

Skills and Experience

• Current Traffic Control ticket TC1 TMI1 [TC2 TMI2 preferred]
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence
• White Card – Construction Industry
• Strong work ethic, reliable, and possess team player values
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays
