About the role
We’re currently looking for a motivated Labourer to join our Regional Assets Track team based at our Redlynch depot. This is a permanent role offering stability, variety, and the chance to work in one of Queensland’s most scenic regions. As part of the Redlynch Track team, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the rail network spanning from Cardwell to Mareeba, including the picturesque Kuranda line.
As a Trackworker you will be responsible for performing heavy manual labour duties including replacing railway sleepers and a variety of other track maintenance tasks.
This position is constantly in the field so you must be able to work in challenging weather conditions and high temperatures.

Hours and salary
The starting base salary for this position is $ 69,091plus 12.75% super. Working the current 9-day fortnight (78 hours) you can expect to earn over $85,000 annually.
