TMI Traffic Controller

Our client, a specialist Civil Contractor, is on the hunt for experienced TMI Traffic Controllers for sites based throughout South side of Brisbane - Logan through to Redland Bay, with the depot based in Ransome. 

To be successful, you will require:

• Level 2 TMI (Traffic Management Implementation) ticket with at least 12 months’ industry experience
• Construction White Card
• Current Queensland Driver’s Licence
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Current First Aid & CPR certification (desirable, however not mandatory) 

The Role: 

• Conduct traffic control duties using stop/slow bat operations
• Set up, maintain and remove traffic control signage, cones and barriers
• Implement Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) and Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGS)
• Monitor traffic flow to ensure the safety of workers, motorists and pedestrians
• Manage lane closures, detours and traffic diversions
• Complete pre-start checks and ensure all equipment is compliant and operational
• Respond quickly and safely to changing traffic and site conditions
• Maintain a strong commitment to workplace health and safety procedures
