What we are looking for :

We are seeking full time Timber Machinists to join our Production Team in Scoresby. The hours of work for this role are Monday to Thursday 6.30am to 3.00pm and Friday 6.30am to 12.30pm. This role has the potential to work additional overtime hours in the afternoon.

The role includes:

• Operation of state-of-the-art CNC Machines and Flatbeds
• Operation of Buzzer, Thicknesser, Panel & Docking Saws, Straight Line Rip Saw and Timber press equipment
• Operation of Spindle Moulder, Edgebander, Sanding machines, Mortice and Tenoner equipment.
• Reading and interpreting Working Drawings
• Process jobs in our in-house software system
• Complying with safety requirements and actively participating in safety improvement initiatives
• Maintain stock level information
• Assist in programming new patterns for CNC equipment
• Assist in maintaining the data base for all CNC patterns
• Identifying quality issues and resolving root cause issues with Factory teams
• Complete appropriate documentation and recording information on computerised programs
• Read and interpret various types of construction/architectural diagrams
• Other tasks as reasonably expected by reporting line Managers and Supervisors
