We’re looking for a Tester (Electrician) to join our high performing New Building Services team in Brisbane, QLD.

What will you be doing?

• Ensure that lifts are electrically safe
• Commission lifts in accordance with the agreed specification parameters
• Test lifts in accordance with the relevant test document and KONE standards
• Post notices on lifts and communicate with the others who may be affected
• Record any abnormalities for corrective action
• Carry out final inspection and sign the final inspection document
• Provides support to project delivery team on commissioning, testing, compliance standards and relevant local codes

What are we looking for?

• Working knowledge in lift directive and related legislation required
• Cert 3 in Electrotechnology Electrician or equivalent
• Full Electrical QLD Licence
• Motivated and self- starter who can manage workload and competing priorities
• Commitment to working safely with a strong focus on quality
• A customer service mindset
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
