Title: Temp Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Rockdale, IL
Shift: 1st shift- Monday-Friday 7am-3pm
Pay: $20.62/hour
Job Description:
This position does not require maintenance experience but it is preferred. This position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure process is as efficient and safe as possible.
Major Functions and Tasks:
- Daily checks and daily and weekly preventative maintenance.
- Assisting higher level mechanics on any given tasks or mechanical breakdowns.
- Becoming knowledgeable of equipment identification, its purpose and standard operation.
- Inspection and preventative maintenance of the DCP mills including, changing filters, matrices, and adding media.
- Inspection and preventative maintenance of the ice conveying system.
- Inspection and preventative maintenance associated with the boiler, air compressor, air dryer, and water softener systems.
- Inspection and preventative maintenance of the various scrubber systems throughout the plant.
- Inspection and preventative maintenance associated with the flusher vacuum systems.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Maintain good attendance.
