Title: Temp Entry Level Mechanic/Electrician
Location: Rockdale, IL
Shift: 2nd shift, Monday-Thursday, 2pm-12pm
Pay: $20.62/hour + $.50 shift differential
Job Description: This position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure process is as efficient and safe as possible.
Major Functions and Tasks:
- Remove and install conduit and wire per given instructions.
- Becoming knowledgeable of equipment identification, it’s purpose and standard operation.
- Inspection and preventative maintenance on various systems throughout the plant.
- Troubleshoot and repair or replace motors, solenoids, pushbuttons and lights.
- Troubleshoot and replace fuses, reset and or replace breakers.
- Troubleshoot and minor PLC failures.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Maintain good attendance.
- The ability and use measuring instruments such as Fluke meters, current testers and Meggers.
- Basic understanding of PLC components.
- The capability to troubleshoot and repair minor electrical failures.
