About the Company
Our client is a national industry leader in the design and manufacture of switchboards, power distribution systems and packaged electrical solutions. With over 50 years of experience, the company designs and manufactures LV and HV power distribution products in Australia, supporting major commercial, infrastructure and resources projects nationally.
Due to continued growth and new projects secured, we are recruiting an experienced Switchboard Electrician / Tester to join their manufacturing team in Western Sydney.
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity to join a well-established Australian manufacturer offering a strong team environment, ongoing professional development and long-term career security.
Key Responsibilities  Switchboard Electrician / Tester

  • Switchboard testing and commissioning
  • QA checks and compliance
  • Reading electrical schematics
  • Fault finding on LV/HV switchboards/MCCs
  • Conduct point-to-point testing, continuity tests and ensure boards meet AS/NZS standards
  • Work collaboratively with engineering teams to identify design issues or variances
  • Maintain high levels of quality assurance, electrical safety, and documentation

Switchboard Electrician Requirements

  • Qualified Electrician (Cert III Electrotechnology)
  • Experience in switchboard manufacturing/workshop environments
  • Strong testing and commissioning experience
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of AS/NZS standards
