THE ROLE

As an Underground HD Fitter, you will:

• Maintain and service underground mobile equipment
• Diagnose faults and complete breakdown & preventative maintenance
• Follow maintenance schedules to minimise downtime
• Support maintenance planning and improvement initiatives
• Liaise with contractors and site stakeholders
• Attend ongoing OEM training and upskilling sessions

Ideal for surface HD Fitters wanting to gain underground experience with full support.

Hands‑on exposure to industry‑leading equipment:

• CAT AD60 & AD63
• Volvo ITs
• Normet charge wagons
• Sandvik DD421‑60C & DD422i jumbos
• Epiroc E7C long‑hole drills
• Sandvik DS421‑C cable bolters
• CAT R2900G Loaders
• Sandvik 621i Loaders

WHAT YOU NEED

• WA C Class manual licence
• Relevant trade qualification (HD Fitter / Diesel Mechanic)
• Underground or heavy industry experience (surface welcome)
• Experience with Sandvik, CAT, Epiroc or Volvo equipment (advantageous)
• CMMS experience (Pronto desirable)
• Diagnostic systems such as CAT ET or SIS (desirable)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Solid computer literacy (MS Office)
