CBGU JV brings together partners CPB Contractors, BAM, Ghella and UGL to deliver the Tunnels and Stations package for Brisbane’s Cross River Rail. Cross River Rail is a 10.2-kilometre rail line between Dutton Park and Bowen Hills, including 5.9 kilometres of tunnel under the Brisbane River and CBD. The project also includes construction of four new high-capacity underground stations at Boggo Road, Woolloongabba, Albert Street and Roma Street.

Reporting to the Station Site Manager, this role sits within our Station Construction team. You will be responsible for coordinating all direct report site employees, plant resources and subcontract teams to achieve quality and safety objectives in accordance with the project programmes and schedules.
You will be responsible for:
- Maintaining a comprehensive working knowledge of the contract, the specifications, the EBA and safety and environmental regulations.
- Effectively coordinating and supervising the utilisation of all on-site resources for the project.
- Ensuring all workers are inducted onto site before commencing work.
- Monitoring construction progress and compliance to safety and environmental standards.
- Ensuring accurate timesheets are submitted to the pay office within specified timeframes.
- Managing site security and material/plant deliveries and storage and general housekeeping.
- Ensuring all operations are performed in accordance with agreed safe methods of work.
Minimum requirements for this role include the following:
- Trade qualifications in a relevant discipline (Mechanical).
- Experience in delivering large scale civil projects in a Supervisor or Foreman capacity.
- Strong leadership, team building and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to apply principles of construction to deliver works in accordance with project requirements.
- Demonstrated personal commitment to safety requirements and expectations.
- Managed self and resources to deliver work to between $1M and $50M.
- Managed logistics and applying principles of construction to deliver works in accordance with Scope of Works Technical Criteria (SWTC).
- Demonstrated commercial experience, to include as a minimum:
- Forecasting labour and materials;
- Monitoring cost and time of allocated resources;
- Comprehending subcontractor contracts; and
- Reviewing procurement packages.
