Substation Electrician

The Opportunity
Downer is seeking experienced Electricians to join our Energy & Utilities team at our Belrose and Regentville projects in Sydney’s metropolitan suburbs, working on HV substation construction projects. You’ll be part of a skilled crew delivering brownfield works across primary HV and secondary systems. This is a Monday–Friday roster—steady hours, no nights away, and long‑term work with a trusted industry leader.

What We’re Looking For
We’d love to hear from you if you have:

• Current NSW Electrical Licence
• Experience in HV substation construction or maintenance
• Skills in primary HV and secondary systems installation
• Strong communication and time‑management skills
• Current driver’s licence
• High Risk Work Licence – EWP and/or Forklift, Telehandler
• Working at Heights & Confined Space (highly desirable)
• First Aid & CPR/LVR
• Construction White Card
• Commitment to safe work and Zero Harm
