Brandt is offering the opportunity to start your apprenticeship in our Hastings branch where you can learn the skills to become a highly qualified and in-demand small engine mechanic. You will gain experience working with our STIHL product range, and other outdoor power equipment and machines.
You will complete a Certificate III in light vehicle mechanical technology.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
• Undertake apprenticeship training or continue your training.
• Perform service and repairs on a variety of mowers and gators to a high standard.
• Perform inspections, and make recommendations for repairs.
• Diagnose faults and rectify them according to approved procedures.
• Prepare new and used equipment for delivery.
• Providing high-quality customer service
About you:
We are looking for someone with strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills, a high quality of adherence to company values and respect along with quality customer service which will ensure you are able to effectively support the wider business with all maintenance and assembly tasks.
• Developing ability to diagnose faults and failures through modern diagnostic techniques.
• Developing ability to perform repairs and reconditioning of vehicle and machinery systems.
• Be well organised and able to complete paperwork in a competent manner.
• Ability to work in a team and individually.
• Excellent communication and customer service
• Team Player with a Great Attitude.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues under pressure and prioritise.
• Highly motivated with a positive 'can do' attitude.
