Hydrilla is a leader in the Commercial Pool and Aquatics Industry, working on some of the most iconic pools and aquatic projects Australia wide. Our work varies from Design and Construction, Major Renovations, Repairs and Servicing for pools and water treatment systems in public and commercial spaces.
We are currently looking to fill a new permanent, full-time role for an experienced Skilled Labourer to deliver a high-level of hands-on support as part of our Construction Team.
Duties will include but not be limited to:

Excavation: Assist with excavation tasks to prepare the site for new pool, aquatic facility, and water treatment system construction,

Concrete Work: Assist in the preparation (including steel fixing and formwork) and pouring of concrete for pool foundations and structures, as well as repairs,

Pipe Installation: Assist in the installation of plumbing for swimming pools and aquatic facilities,

Pool Finishes: Assist in the renovation, repairs, and completion of pool surfaces including concrete structures, applying vinyl liners, rendering, caulking, screeding, waterproofing, painting, and tiling,

Safety Compliance: Support site managers to oversee site works, ensuring compliance to WHS and quality systems,

Site Maintenance: Helping to maintain a clean and safe job site at all times, contributing to a positive and professional image for our company.
The successful candidate will possess
Essential:
-
Unrestricted rights to work in Australia (we are unable to sponsor overseas applications or support working visas with restrictions currently)
- A minimum 1 year experience in construction,
- Current, unrestricted C Class Driverβs License and reliable transport,
- Have or can obtain a Working With Children clearance,
- Have or can obtain a National Police clearance.
Desirable:
- Steel Fixing and/or concreting experience and/or carpentry experience,
- Previous experience in commercial swimming pool and aquatics construction,
- Construction Industry White Card.
