We are seeking a strong team player and quick learner to fill the role of Site Service Fitter at FLSmidth, a globally recognized leader in heavy industry. This is a dynamic role requiring adaptability, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety. Ideal candidates will be willing to work away from home Monday to Friday and have a clean track record in the mining industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine inspections, servicing, and repairs on customer sites and in the workshop

  • Respond promptly to breakdowns, ensuring minimal operational disruptions

  • Provide detailed photographic reports and maintenance recommendations to clients

  • Maintain high equipment availability through efficient planning and execution

  • Uphold strict safety protocols, ensuring compliance with industry standards

  • Work effectively within a team environment, collaborating to achieve optimal results

  • Be comfortable working away from home Monday to Friday as required for site-based work

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Mechanical trade qualifications (essential)

  • Hands-on experience with centrifugal pumps (Krebs, Warman, Metso)

  • Hands-on experience with screens and centrifuges

  • Hands-on experience with sizers and crushers

  • Previous experience in a field service role

  • Clean track record in the mining industry

  • A valid driver's license

  • Computer literacy for report generation and communication

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to evolving work requirements

  • Commitment to workplace safety and compliance
