We are currently expanding our team and seeking multiple skilled Electricians to join our vibrant team at the Wollar Solar Farm Project. Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, inspect, and repair electrical systems and components on construction sites and industrial facilities.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics to plan and execute electrical installations.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety standards.
  • Diagnose electrical issues and troubleshoot problems in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with other team members to coordinate electrical installations and repairs in a project-based environment.
  • Conduct regular maintenance on electrical systems to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  • Test and calibrate electrical equipment to guarantee accurate functionality.
  • Recommend upgrades and improvements to enhance system efficiency and safety.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of electrical materials and tools.
  • Follow site-specific safety guidelines and promote a culture of safety among team members.
  • Provide guidance and support to apprentices and junior electricians when needed.
  • Attend training sessions and workshops to stay up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices.
  • Respond to emergency calls and address electrical issues promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
  • Must be in possession of a current electricians license for at least one State (preferably SA or NSW).
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and equipment.
  • Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations.
  • Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
  • Time management skills to meet project deadlines.
  • Willingness to adapt to evolving technologies and industry practices
  • A construction industry white card induction, and high risk forklift license would be advantageous
