Mineco has positions available for experienced and qualified Plant Mechanic’s to showcase their skills and add value to our Muswellbrook clients. About the Role
Mineco is growing rapidly with over 100 items of self-maintained plant. Mineco have multiple roles available to work in a “industry leading resourced workshop”. This is your opportunity to join an experienced maintenance team in Muswellbrook on a permanent 5/4 - day/night lifestyle roster to support the maintenance of Mineco fleet and mine site plant and equipment. This role is a unique opportunity to build your experience and knowledge providing exposure to a large variety of plant and equipment to further your career.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:
• Perform the servicing, repair and maintenance of large-scale mobile mining equipment including CAT Trucks Dozers & Loaders, Hitachi and Liebherr excavators’ other
ancillary equipment including Crushers and Screens
• Refer to technical documentation including relevant manuals, OEM's computer-based systems.
• Diagnostics and fault finding
• General Maintenance
• Servicing
• Breakdowns
• Component Change outs
• Conduct required inspection to maximize equipment utilisation
The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:
• Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent
• Post-trade experience working in the Mining or Heavy Earth Moving industry
• Experience in General Maintenance, Breakdowns, Component Change Outs and Servicing of Heavy Earth Moving Equipment
• Demonstrated experience with Liebherr, Hitachi and Cat large earthmoving equipment
• Diagnostic experience
• Must be a great team player
• Self-driven and ability to work autonomously
• Understanding of maintenance planning basics
• Experience seeking & reviewing OEM literature
• Self-starter
• Ability to work well un-supervised
• Comfortable to liaise with clients & suppliers as required
• Comfortable mentoring others within the work environment
• HRWL
• Working @ heights licence
• MDG25
• Motor Vehicle license
• Crusher and Screen experience
