Electrician – Golden Grove Shutdown

Engineering Trades Australia are currently seeking experienced Electricians to join a shutdown project at Golden Grove.
This is a great opportunity for qualified Electricians looking for a short-term shutdown assignment with the potential to work extended hours across both day and night shifts.
The Role
You will be working as part of the shutdown team, carrying out electrical maintenance, repairs and shutdown-related works while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.
Key duties may include:
- Electrical maintenance and shutdown works
- Fault finding, testing and repairs
- Installation, inspection and maintenance of electrical equipment
- Working safely within a mining environment
- Following site procedures, permits and safety requirements
- Working collaboratively with other trades and site personnel
- Completing all works to a high standard and within required timeframes
- Location: Golden Grove
- Shutdown: 21 September – 3 October 2026
- Roster: 12-hour shifts
- Shifts: Days & nights
- Pay Rate: Competitive rate
- Employment: Shutdown / casual
To be considered, you will ideally have:
- Australian-recognised Electrical Trade Qualification
- Current Electrical Licence
- Previous mining, shutdown or heavy industrial experience
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ability to work 12-hour day and night shifts
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
- Full Australian working rights
