Engineering Trades Australia is recruiting a full shutdown crew for a major power station outage. This is a large-scale, complete site refurbishment in NSW being delivered by a global leader in industrial gas and rotating equipment technology. This is a significant scope of work with a well-run, safety-focused team, offering strong rates, consistent hours, and a defined project timeframe.
This is a large outage with a mix of day and night shift work across the project, so there's plenty of scope for experienced tradespeople looking for a solid, well-paid run of work.
Positions Available:
- Riggers x4 — $55.00/hr + penalties
- Mechanical Fitters x2 — $62.00/hr + penalties
- Boilermakers x3 — $62.00/hr + penalties
Project Details: - Start: 1st September | Completion: 30th November
- Full site refurbishment as part of a major power station outage in NSW
- 11-12 hour shifts, mix of day and night work
- Roster to be confirmed — expected 6:1 or 13:1
Mandatory Requirements: - Confined Space Entry (CSE)
- Working at Heights (WAH)
- Trade Certificate (Boilermakers & Mechanical Fitters)
- Rigging Ticket — Intermediate or Advanced (Riggers)
- Forklift Licence (FL)
- HRWL
- Gas Test Certification
Accommodation & Allowances: - LAHA: $800/week (candidates source own accommodation)
