Service Electrician

About the Role
Engineering Trades Australia is currently seeking an experienced Service Electrician to join a growing electrical contractor based throughout Brisbane.
The role will involve a mix of domestic and light commercial service work, including restoration projects, modular homes and modular buildings. You can expect a varied workload and the opportunity to develop and progress within the business. The service area generally covers Brisbane's southern suburbs through to north of Yatala, with travel further afield paid in addition where required.
About the Work
Your day-to-day work may include:

• Domestic and light commercial electrical service work
• Electrical restoration projects
• Isolating and making safe electrical supplies
• Electrical works within modular homes and buildings
• Fault finding and rectification
• General maintenance and repairs
• Service and breakdown work
• Attending call-outs when required
• Working across approximately 20 jobs per month
• Maintaining high standards of safety and customer service

What We're Looking For

• Current QLD Electrical Licence
• Previous service electrical experience
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple jobs
• Driver's Licence
• Split-system air conditioning experience is a bonus, but not essential

What's On Offer

• $55/hr (perm rate) + Company Vehicle
• 6:30am-2:30pm standard hours
• Overtime available
• Call-out opportunities available
• Travel paid when working further afield
• Work generally within 50km of Crestmead
• Open to temp-to-perm arrangements
