MINESITE SECURITY OFFICER - FIFO DARWIN

Wilson Security present an exciting opportunity to join our local security workforce by applying for a position as a FIFO Mine Security Officer from Darwin in the Northern Territory.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

· Location: Fly In / Fly Out from Darwin

· Full Time opportunity

· 7/7/Roster

· 12 hour shifts

· Potential earnings up to $110 000 (*Potential earnings up to $110 000 p.a. subject to availability, hours worked including overtime, classification, and other factors)

 

Wilson Security is expanding in the Northern Territory, securing additional contracts that strengthen our presence in the region.

 

This growth has created new roles within our team, focused on enhancing response and support capabilities for our existing teams and clients.

 

These positions are crucial to our success in the region and will be supported by our Operations Team and Duty Managers. They offer the opportunity to work in a sought after Mining Security Role.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Providing strong Customer Service solutions to visitors, contractors & client

· Must be able to pass a comprehensive pre-employment medical and a drug and alcohol screen

· Gatehouse duties

· Proactively monitoring CCTV and Access Control Systems

· Conducting building and camp patrols to actively report and mitigate security & safety risk

· Identifying and reporting hazards and building faults for rectification

· Responding to emergency situations

· Contractor management duties

· Ad-hoc duties

 

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

· Minimum of 2 years in a similar role

· Must have full working rights and availability

· Willing to support and step up as required into other roles

· Ability to work well in a team or autonomously

· Ability to work in a rotational roster (Nights/Days/Weekends)

· Australian Citizen or hold Unlimited Work Rights

· Must have a Northern Territory Security Licence

· Must have a full and valid Australian Driver’s Licence (C)

· Must have an RSA

· Demonstrated ability to prepare and write reports

· Demonstrated ability in the use of Computers and Security related systems (Access Control, CCTV, Microsoft Programmes)

· Availability and physical fitness to walk and stand for long periods

· Crowd Control endorsement

· Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
