Second Class Welder

We’re looking for skilled Second Class Welder/Fabricators to join a well-established steel fabrication operation in Jandakot.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Read and work from shop drawings and job specifications
• Mark out, cut, drill, grind, fit and fabricate steel
• FCAW welding/ fabrication duties
• Learn how to sub arc weld
• Complete accurate fit-up ready for welding
• Use workshop tools, equipment and lifting gear safely
• Keep the workshop clean, organised and, importantly, safe

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Solid FCAW welding skills
• Strong fabrication skills
• Takes pride in doing a quality job
• Works well with the team but can also get stuck into a job independently
