The Position…

Due to continued growth and ongoing success, the company has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sand Blaster & Industrial Painter to join the team in their Pinjarra engineering facility.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

• General Painter/Blaster duties comprising sandblasting of steel, sanding/preparation, industrial painting, loading and unloading of steel, material handling, general maintenance & cleaning of equipment/tools, QA checks/documentation.
  
• Perform assigned duties in a timely and safe manner.
  
• Ensure all work is carried out to quality and specification requirements and that documentation is completed on time.
  
• Co-ordinate and work in a team environment.
  
• Maintain and use equipment as designed.
  

The ideal Candidate… 

You will possess the following skills:

• Previous experience in industrial painting/ sand blasting.
  
• General Paint and/or Blasting knowledge.
  
• High attention to detail.
  
• Good oral and written communication skills.
  
• Good interpersonal skills including communication and consultation.
  
• Sound knowledge of general Fabrication and steel practices.
  
• Ability to work as part of a team.
  
• Current driver’s license.
  
• Strong commitment to safety & quality.
  
• Motivated, hard-working and a positive attitude.
