Wet’n’Wild’s collaborative and supportive atmosphere will enable you to grow as an integral part of our engineering and facility maintenance team , performing varied duties such as routine safety checks, preventative maintenance , plant overhauls and general site maintenance at Australia’s biggest and best waterpark. Not only will you work on our iconic attractions, but you will also collaborate with other departments, including water quality and operations teams, to create memories that last lifetimes!
Your day to day:
• Undertake park pre-opening safety checks
• Respond to breakdowns on various equipment and partaking in various
rebuilds and repairs of property within set timeframes
• Assist to maintain our attractions, ride buildings and water quality infrastructure
• Ensure the safety of yourself and others by adhering to OHS procedures, including obtaining equipment licenses and undertaking training as required
• Suggest improvements in work procedures in order to increase efficiency
within the department
• Complete daily tasks as instructed by the Engineering Supervisor and Leading Hands
• Shifts range from 5:00am to 6:00pm, such as 5:00am – 3:00pm and 9:00am to 6:00pm. Rosters may be subject to change for business requirements
What you’ll bring:
• A minimum Engineering Cert III Mechanical Trade or similar
• Physical fitness to enable the climbing of ladders and stairs and be
comfortable working at heights up to 30m
• Welding or previous filtration plant maintenance experience is highly regarded
• Current EWP licence or willing to obtain is desirable
• Manual driver’s licence is desirable
• Ability to work any day to suit rotating roster, including early mornings and weekends
