We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Fitter – Mechanical, or an experienced Electrician to join Pernod Ricard Winemakers, Engineering & Reliability team. Based in the beautiful Barossa Valley at our Rowland Flat site, this position is offered on a full-time permanent basis.

Your unique contribution
This role functions within a 24-hour work environment. We ask that you be available for shifts from Monday to Friday as scheduled, along with weekend work and overtime as required. However, if you have a specific shift preference, please don’t hesitate to apply. We are open to discuss flexible working options for the right candidate.
Experience in pneumatic systems, sound computer skills and working under TPM/5S disciplines will be highly regarded. As will a high Risk Work Licence for Forklift, EWP & boom lift.

Providing maintenance and operational support for the equipment associated with the packaging plant at Rowland Flat;
maintaining plant, investigating and correcting plant failures;
assisting in the development and review of maintenance procedures;
Identifying plant improvement opportunities;
Maintaining good record keeping and complying with all applicable standards;
Providing support and guidance to apprentices, colleagues and contractors as required.

Mechanical Position:
Hold an Australian Mechanical/Maintenance Fitter trade qualification (or equivalent)
Minimum 5 years’ experience (including apprenticeship) in a FMCG/manufacturing multi-shift production operation (preferably packaging operations) desirable.
A good understanding of process control, including pumps, valves and measuring instruments and machine drawings
Highly developed problem solving skills
Very organised with a proactive approach
The ability to communicate effectively at all levels
A positive attitude, and a professional manner
The ability to identify and implement opportunities for improvement.
Electrical Position:
Hold an Australian Electrical trade qualification (or equivalent)
Minimum 5 years’ experience (including apprenticeship) in a FMCG/manufacturing multi-shift production operation (preferably packaging operations) desirable.
Highly developed problem solving skills
Very organised with a proactive approach
The ability to communicate effectively at all levels
A positive attitude, and a professional manner
The ability to identify and implement opportunities for improvement.
