Refrigeration Mechanic – Oil and Gas – Remote

Throughout Australia, Wild Desert remains one of the leading providers of well servicing rigs, transport operations and mobile camps to the oil and gas industry.
Our trades are an integral part of our operations and we currently have approximately 60 team members across our maintenance and trades teams working across Queensland and South Australia.
As we have grown, and with many exciting new projects on the horizon, we are seeking experienced Refrigeration Mechanics to join the Wild Desert team.
Full time positions on a 2/2 roster working across all operations. FIFO from Adelaide or Brisbane
Minimum 1-2 years of refrigeration experience is required for this position.
Role responsibilities
- Responding to breakdowns, preventative and reactive maintenance and repairs across operations
- Responsible for preparing new installations of refrigerating systems
- Performing maintenance and repairs to defective equipment and testing components
- Performing pre-start inspections and keeping an audit report
- General maintenance when required across operations
Mandatory Requirements
- Certificate III in Air-conditioning and Refrigeration
- Full Refrigerant Handling Licence (endorsed RAC)
- LR Drivers Licence (Preferred)
- Australian work rights are required for this position
