Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technician - Relocation

Our client is a well-established HVAC specialist with a strong reputation across Kalgoorlie and the surrounding Goldfields region. With a growing portfolio of mine site, commercial and industrial contracts, they are seeking an experienced Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technician to join their close-knit team.

This is a Monday to Friday role offering a mix of site-based and local work, servicing specialised commercial and industrial HVAC systems rather than standard residential equipment.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Fault finding, diagnostics, servicing and repairs
• Installation and commissioning of commercial HVAC systems
• Working on chillers, VRV/VRF systems and specialised commercial equipment
• Maintaining underground refuge chamber HVAC systems
• Servicing split systems, evaporative coolers and gas heating systems
• Cool room maintenance, repairs and replacements
• Supporting and mentoring an apprentice
• Maintaining high safety and quality standards across site and workshop environments

Key Requirements For Success

• Cert III in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
• Current ARCTick Licence
• Restricted Electrical Licence
• Current Driver's Licence
• White Card
• National Police Clearance (within 12 months)
• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership on site
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Working at Heights ticket (highly regarded)
• Previous commercial, industrial or mining experience advantageous
