This position is responsible for the ongoing operation of production equipment, as well as the maintenance of machinery, equipment, and onsite services to support achievement of site objectives (Production, Quality, Spoilage). The role also actively contributes to electrical maintenance improvements to help meet production targets and maximise plant uptime. This role operates on a 12-hour rotating shift (7am-7pm & 7pm-7am). Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Operating production machinery and managing production information to continually improve line, machinery, and equipment performance
- Conducting quality checks in line with the quality manual and standard operating requirements
- Maintaining site equipment and machinery, including:
- Performing preventative maintenance as scheduled
- Dismantling, assessing, repairing, and reassembling, equipment, and components
- Responding promptly to machine breakdowns and taking corrective action
- Identifying and suggesting improvement opportunities and supporting continuous improvement initiatives
- Demonstrating exemplary safety behaviour and leading by example in upholding health, safety, and wellbeing standards
