We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team. This is a project based role with the following key responsibilities:
Lead the mechanical design team on assigned projects, including coordinating and allocating tasks
Attending sales and project review meetings
Develop system designs and layouts
Manage design schedule, budget and work orders
Liaise with Project Managers, architects, builders, consultants and purchasing team
Check and approve drawings, calculations and technical documentation
Develop mechanical installation work packages and inspection and test plans
Provide technical support and advice to other areas of the business and junior employees
Assist with system commissioning and testing
Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications & experience:
Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent experience)
Detailed knowledge of mechanical engineering processes
Experience in a similar Project Engineer position, working on large scale projects
Experience using project management programs
Experience in AutoCAD designer
Experience in Autodesk Inventor would be an advantage
Experience in developing technical documentation such as product and training manuals
Competent in use of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
A detailed engineer that can specifically handle increasing requirements for modelling to use in BIM (Building Integration Management) tools
