The Opportunity

As the Production Supervisor - Painting, you’ll report to the Operations Manager and be responsible to the Project Managers for ensuring preparation and painting works for docking projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You’ll oversee daily operations, coordinate resources, and lead your team to meet project milestones while maintaining a strong focus on safety and workmanship.

 

What’s involved

  • Plan and communicate daily and weekly task requirements to the team
  • Identify risks or constraints impacting task delivery and consult key stakeholders
  • Ensure timely and accurate project delivery while managing stakeholder expectations
  • Conduct performance reviews and address employee matters in line with company policies
  • Coordinate subcontractor activities, including quotations, purchase orders, and work specifications
  • Monitor and support the submission of Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) as required
  • Provide regular feedback to the QA department to ensure procedures align with task execution
  • Lead continuous improvement by reviewing practices and ensuring work meets quality standards

 

You’ll need

Essential

  • Trade qualification in relevant field with 10 years trade experience in heavy industrial or marine
  • Previous experience in a supervisory position
