Process Operator/Labourer with HR Licence

• Permanent - Full time position – Padstow, NSW
• Work in treatment plant – Day shift – 5:45am-3pm
• $34.67 + overtime paid at penalty rates
• Overtime/Penalty Rates paid for weekends and Public Holidays
• Driving trucks occasionally

The Opportunity:

This position is within the Food Waste sector, such as Grease Trap waste.

• Perform loading and unloading duties of waste, both on the job and in the Padstow treatment plant.
• Set up and operate vehicles and equipment in accordance with training, instructions or operating procedures and company regulations.
• Ensure all tools and equipment used in the performance of work is safe to use & stored in a clean & correct manner.

• Able to work in the treatment plant as well as driving any of our vehicles
• Flexibility to undertake any task within skill range

• Operate liquid vacuum loading equipment as required.

About You:

• Able to deal with strong odours and smells
• Heavy Rigid (HR) (AUS) or Class 4 (NZ) Licence (as a minimum).
• Fork Lift (LF) licence
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Effective communication skills
• Good problem-solving skills
