About the Role
This position coordinates the day-to-day operations of the Shoalhaven Community & Recreation Precinct (SCaRP), including Artie Smith Oval, the Croquet Club and Indoor Sports Centre grounds. You'll lead a small team responsible for turf and grounds maintenance, sports field presentation and precinct operations, ensuring facilities are maintained to a high standard for the community.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and supervising day-to-day grounds and precinct operations
- Preparing and maintaining turf cricket wickets and sports turf areas
- Developing and implementing annual turf management programs
- Overseeing irrigation, machinery maintenance and pest control activities
- Ensuring Council assets are maintained to a high standard within available resources
- Operating specialised plant and equipment safely and effectively
- Delivering high-quality services in line with established standards and programs

Being available to be on-call and complete reasonable overtime is a requirement of this position.
About You
To be successful in the position, you will have:
- Trade Certificate in Sports Turf Management or Equivalent Qualification
- Current White Card – General Construction Induction Card (Safework NSW)
- MR licence
- Previous experience as a Curator or in Sports Turf Management
- Current Class C Driver’s Licence
- Proof of right to work in Australia
