Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for technical support to the sales team, including joint calls to provide technical assistance.
  • Resolve in-market AS&S issues, including working with local service agents.
  • Lead the resolution of quality issues affecting installations and ensure solutions are implemented effectively.
  • Provide troubleshooting and technical solutions for customer problems raised through the sales escalation process.
  • Stay updated on industry standards and guide the business on training impacts.
  • Collaborate with the GWA product training team to deliver the product training strategy.
  • Leverage market insights to inform training priorities and opportunities.
  • Support the delivery of internal technical training and build the technical capabilities of the state sales and service team.
  • Deliver training initiatives to plumbers and keep customers informed about changes in industry standards and codes.
  • Inform and influence design specifications based on optimal technical solutions.
  • Share market insights to guide decision-making and training interventions.
  • Conduct market research and surveys to inform decision-making and guide training interventions.

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

  • Obsession with exceeding customer expectations!
  • Excellent communication and rapport-building skills.
  • Advanced problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Creative and out-of-the-box thinker with a pragmatic and practical approach.
  • Engaging presentation and group facilitation experience.
  • Strong industry network and connections.
  • On-the-tools experience as a plumber or similar trade.
  • Technical qualification in plumbing.
