About The Opportunity
As a Plumbing Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring plumbing compliance across a diverse range of services in the Bundaberg Region. Reporting to the Plumbing Assessment and Compliance Team Leader, you’ll provide expert advice, conduct assessments, and undertake inspections to ensure compliance with legislation and Council policies. From regulatory enforcement to advising developers and the public, your work will directly contribute to building a safe and sustainable community.
Key Responsibilities
About You
You are a licensed plumber/drainer in Queensland with proven experience in the plumbing and drainage industry. You excel at conducting on-site inspections and applying relevant legislation, including the Plumbing and Drainage Act and the Water Supply (Safety and Reliability) Act. Tech-savvy and customer-focused, you’re ready to take on a role that combines regulatory expertise with meaningful community impact.
