This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality domestic maintenance, multi-disciplinary services, and plumbing/gas fitting repairs across a range of town, village, and non-process infrastructure facilities throughout Western Australia. Job Description

In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing and delivering integrated facilities support services, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards in line with company, contractual, legislative, and safety requirements. The role involves travelling to various sites to perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), inspections, repairs, and ensuring operational efficiency and safety at all times.

These positions are on 8 days on, 6 days off FIFO from Perth roster.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • State-wide Service Delivery: Travel across Western Australia in a company-provided vehicle to deliver plumbing services to town, village, and non-process infrstructure facilities as well as remote mining and industrial sites.
  • Plumbing & Gas Maintenance: Undertake repairs and maintenance of plumbing and gas systems, including domestic maintenance and complex systems. Perform PPM and reactive maintenance (RM) in line with contractual response times.
  • Inspection & Documentation: Conduct plumbing and gas inspections, complete necessary paperwork, and maintain accurate records of work carried out in accordance with company standards.
  • Safety & Compliance: Participate in Pre-Start meetings, Tool Box talks, and adhere to all safety protocols. Report any safety hazards, damaged equipment, or incidents promptly to the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Waste & Environmental Management: Dispose of waste responsibly and in line with environmental standards and company policies.
  • Professional Conduct: Maintain a professional attitude, comply with grooming and hygiene standards, and adhere to all health and safety policies and regulations.

 

 

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong understanding of plumbing systems, gas fitting, and domestic maintenance.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with clients, staff, and management.
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and planning skills.
  • Self-motivated, flexible, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong commitment to safety, environmental practices, and maintaining high work standards.

Qualifications

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Certificate III in Plumbing (CPC32413) – Trade qualified Plumber.
  • Plumber’s Licence issued by the relevant licensing board.
  • C Class Manual Drivers License.
  • Police Clearance.
  • Plumbing Contractors Licence (Desirable).
  • First Aid Certificate (highly desirable).
  • Hazardous Works Qualifications such as Work at Heights (W@H), Elevated Work Platform (EWP), Confined Space, and Hot Works (highly desirable).
  • 5+ years of experience as a qualified Plumber, ideally in a Facilities Management or multi-disciplinary service environment.
  • Experience in domestic maintenance, multi-trade projects, and delivering services across town, village, and non-process infrastructure facilities.
  • Proven ability to execute planned preventative maintenance programs and respond to reactive maintenance requests in a timely manner.

    Experience & Qualifications:
