With a new project about to commence, we are currently seeking experienced plant mechanics to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a company that values their in-house maintenance team, safety, performance, and teamwork.
About the Role
- Perform the servicing, repair and maintenance of large-scale mobile mining equipment including CAT and Hitachi mining equipment
- Diagnostics and fault finding
- General Maintenance, Servicing, Breakdowns, Component Change outs
- Conduct required inspection to maximize equipment utilisation.
The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:
- Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent
- Post-trade experience working in the mining or heavy earth moving industry
- Experience in general maintenance, breakdowns, component change outs and servicing of heavy earth moving equipment
- Demonstrated experience with Liebherr, Hitachi and Cat large earthmoving equipment
- Diagnostic experience
