Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting using water and sand blasting or mechanical methods.
- Apply coatings and paint through spray, brush, and roller techniques.
- Ensure all work complies with project specifications and meets quality standards.
- Adhere to safety protocols consistently.
- Work collaboratively with team members on various projects.
Qualifications and Skills:
Essential:
- At least 2 years of painting experience, with a preference for those skilled in water and sand blasting.
- Proficient in Airless Spray-painting techniques.
- OHS Construction Induction White Card.
- Elevating Work Platform License (EWP).
- Working at Heights certification (WAH).
Desirable:
- Expertise in surface preparation, including sanding, blasting, and other mechanical methods.
- Skilled in applying coatings via spray, brush, and roller techniques.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality finishes.
- Ability to follow project specifications and uphold quality standards.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills for successful project collaboration.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve painting-related issues efficiently.
