The Offer -

  • Permanent roster Monday to Friday in our Mackay workshop!
  • Casual contracts available
  • up to 12 hrs per day |Paid fortnightly

What is your day-to-day going to look like?

  • Carry out Paint and Blast repairs and upgrade improvements to the Rental equipment fleet as required.
  • Prepare abrasive Paint & Blast earth moving equipment, unsupervised.
  • Apply two pack systems to structural steel and machinery.
  • Blast, prime and pain within job specifications.
  • General housekeeping and yard clean up as required.
  • Ensure that all works completed are in line with our safety plan.
  • Monitor quality of all work performed.

What are you bringing to the table?

  • Unrestricted rights to work in Australia.
  • Current Australian driver’s licence (mandatory)
  • Demonstrated prior experience with Industrial Painting & Blasting
  • Previous experience in the painting and blasting of heavy earthmoving equipment. (Highly Desired)
  • Able to pull down equipment in readiness for surface preparation.
  • A high commitment and understanding of safety procedures and their importance.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to meet set deadlines.
  • The ability to work cohesively and collaboratively in a small team.
  • Current High Risk Forklift Licence (Highly Desired)
  • Current Working at Heights Certificate (Highly Desired)
