Wood is currently sourcing an experienced Painter & Blaster for an upcoming opportunity in our maintenance team in Hastings, Victoria.

We are looking for a candidate with strong commitment to safety, someone who enjoys working in a team, self-motivated and can prioritise work to meet deadlines.

· Perform abrasive blasting to clean and prepare surfaces for painting

· Apply protective coatings and finishes according to specifications

· Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication (Surface Finishing or Surface Preparation & Coating) preferred

· Construction Induction white card

· High Risk Work Licence – WP (Preferred)

· Drivers Licence

· Experience working in a multi-disciplined team highly regarded (Sheetmetal/insulating & Painting)

· Industrial experience (Preferred)

· Demonstrated high commitment to safety

· Nace CIP 1 or 2 highly desirable

In addition, successful candidates will be expected to complete a Wood pre-employment medical and provide a copy of their passport or birth certificate.
