Griffin Marine Services Pty Ltd is a leading provider of painting and blasting services for over 40 clients across Australia, including major Defence and commercial contractors. We work on a variety of ships and vessels, both nationally and internationally, as well as industrial projects. We value the safety and development of our personnel and offer ongoing training and opportunities.
We are currently looking for experienced painters to join our growing team, in Sydney, NSW. We offer casual roles with the potential to become permanent and competitive rates.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
At least 2 years of painting experience
A good understanding of Safety and PPE requirements in an industrial environment
A current driver’s licence and reliable transport
The ability to perform physically demanding tasks
The ability to work well in a team
An OHS Construction Induction White Card - Essential
Some desirable but not essential qualifications are:
Confined Space Entry
Fire Sentry Training
Working at Heights
Cert 3 trade certificate
You will also need to have experience in brush and roll painting, blasting, and mechanical preparation.
