About the role

We are now seeking an experienced Mechanical Package Manager to join our team on a landmark renewable energy project located near Rockhampton, Queensland.

Reporting to the Project Director, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of the Mechanical package of the project. Success is measured across HSE, commercial, financial, program and quality outcomes compared with Client and DTI requirements.

DIDO / FIFO roster 2 weeks on 1 week off, offering salary + uplift + allowances + flights + accommodation.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate commitment, active involvement and leadership regarding HSE, client, people and financial accountabilities.
• Select and allocate sufficient resources and assign responsibilities to enable all project requirements to be satisfied.
• Monitor progress to ensure the project is on schedule, within budget and meeting performance targets taking corrective actions when necessary to address and deviations.
• Develop and foster good onsite relationships.
• Ensure agreed standards, formats and deliverable timeframes are maintained.

About you

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Project Management or similar.
• Proven successful Project Management experience.
• Supervisory and leadership skills allowing for the leadership of a team, including the ability to effectively manage a team, undertake conflict resolution and to give instructions.
• Understanding and ability to interpret technical specifications and financial data and reports.
• The ability to lead and manage a team in geographic disperse locations.
