ABOUT THE ROLE
The Operator Maintainer Plumber/ Fitter will be responsible for operating and maintaining the safe and efficient operation of the Sundrop Facility at Port Augusta. You will be required to work at heights and in confined spaces which will include but not limited to boiler & turbine operations along with general greenhouse/site maintenance.
To oversee and manage the practices of the facilities engineering service, as well as ensure maintenance adheres to the standards, codes, and regulations pertaining to the maintenance of the site. All details of operations must be communicated effectively both verbally and/or written as required by management in detailed, accurate and timely reports.
This position requires the incumbent to lead and follow through all projects and to provide technical support and initiatives in the development and monitoring of the preventative and scheduled maintenance program, work procedures and safety practices.
APPLICANT PROFILE
• Trade Qualified Certificate in Plumbing and or Fitter
• Relevant licencing
• Valid Full C Class Australian Driving Licence
• Confined Spaces & Working at Heights highly regarded
• Able to complete a Pre-Employment Medical including a Drug & Alcohol Screening
• Successful record of upholding and implementing safety standards and practices
