Wood is urgently sourcing an experienced Offshore Painter & Blaster for an upcoming swing on Yolla commencing 25th June - 7th July, departing from Tooradin Heliport.

We are looking for a candidate with strong commitment to safety, someone who enjoys working in a team, self-motivated and can prioritise work to meet deadlines.



Responsibilities

· Perform abrasive blasting to clean and prepare surfaces for painting

· Apply protective coatings and finishes according to specifications



Qualifications
· Current BOSIET & MSIC
· Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication (Surface Finishing or Surface Preparation & Coating) preferred
· High Risk Work Licence – WP – preferred
· Work at Heights Certification – preferred
· Offshore Oil & Gas experience
· Experience working in a multi-disciplined team highly regarded (Sheetmetal, Painting)
· Demonstrated high commitment to safety
· Ability to pass an Offshore pre-employment medical ASAP, including a drug and alcohol screen
