We are looking for two experienced Multi-Skilled Labourers – Vegetation Control to join the team. You will be responsible for undertaking vegetation control works effectively and efficiently within the Municipality that meets with legislation, industry standards and GCC’s annual renewal and upgrade plans.
The successful applicant will have:
- Experience with operating small plant (brush cutters, mowers etc.).
- Ability to work in a team environment and changing environment.
- A well-developed understanding and knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety, experience with following Safe Operating Procedures (SOPS).
- Physically fit and proven ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Sound literacy, communication and interpersonal skills coupled with efficient time management skills.
Qualifications required:
- Certificate III in Horticulture and/or experience in vegetation control or a relevant horticultural field
- Medium Rigid Truck ‘MR’ Class licence
- White Card
- Traffic Management Accreditation
Position Hours: Full-Time, 76 hours fortnight.
Salary range: $59,698.27 to $62,735.52 plus superannuation
