About the Role:
As a Maintenance Planner, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and effective upkeep of a diverse fleet of heavy equipment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leveraging ERP systems to deliver accurate maintenance schedules on time.
- Managing component change-out work orders, including resolving any issues.
- Drafting, reviewing, and liaising on maintenance plans with relevant teams.
- Forecasting monthly, quarterly, and annual equipment maintenance needs.
- Adjusting schedules to accommodate plant movements, disposals, and other variables.
- Monitoring and managing open work orders, with reporting against monthly targets.
- Resolving invoice discrepancies in collaboration with Accounts Payable.
- Partnering with the workshop team to ensure accurate costing for maintenance, repairs, and servicing.
- Driving continuous improvement through operational reviews and enhancements.
- Overseeing the inbound and outbound flow of materials and equipment.
About You:
To excel in this role, you'll need to bring:
- Proven experience in maintenance planning for large-scale earthmoving equipment.
- Exceptional organisational and communication skills, with a solutions-focused mindset.
- Advanced proficiency in using ERP systems for maintenance planning.
- A strong understanding of component change-outs, materials management, and workshop operations.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Desirable:
- Exposure to CAT 793s, D11s, and similar large-scale machinery.
- Previous experience in FIFO roles or a mining/heavy industry environment.
