We are currently seeking a highly motivated HVAC Minor Works Manager to join their expanding team based on Brisbane’s South side. This is the perfect opportunity for an enthusiastic Technician looking to step away from the tools or an experienced current Service Manager.
In this position, you will be responsible for the following:
- Manage all aspects of minor projects delivery, including client relationship development, primarily with Government sites
- Liaise with clients, sub-contractors, and internal team members to achieve outcomes
- Forward plan work schedules in advance to ensure team efficiency, minimising downtime and ensuring customer service targets are achieved
- Provide strong leadership and direction, motivate team members to achieve successful outcomes
- Effectively plan and managing multiple jobs at any one time taking into consideration hour allowances, labour and material requirements
- Reporting status updates to Management in line with company processes

The Candidate
The ideal candidate for this position will be a passionate and results focused Service Manager or an enthusiastic HVAC Technician looking to step away from the tools, who has experience in effectively servicing customer requirements and managing client relationships.
- Previous experience coordinating multiple staff and projects simultaneously, prioritise and delegating tasks
- Strong communication and negotiation skills when dealing with people at all levels including internal and external customers, sub-contractors, industry suppliers and stakeholders
- Confidence in your technical knowledge and ability in service maintenance across the commercial sector
- Demonstrate a strong sense of initiative with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and the confidence in your skills to make decisions
