Fabricators/Welders for positions in Australia.
The employing company specialises in turnkey project
solutions within the concrete batching, mining, and quarrying sectors, covering
the full project lifecycle from initial concept and detailed design to site
construction and commissioning. Visa sponsorship is available for international
applicants.
Position: Metal Fabricator/Welder
Sector: Engineering / Trades
Contract: Permanent / Three-year visa
Location: Queensland, Australia
Role Overview
As a Metal Fabricator/Welder, your responsibilities will
include:
- Interpreting
blueprints and technical schematics
- Cutting
and shaping metal components
- Performing
various welding techniques to industry standards
- Assembling
parts using hand tools and machinery
- Grinding
and finishing products to precise specifications
- Ensuring
the quality and accuracy of completed work
- Compiling
and submitting job reports
Requirements
- A
minimum of five yearsβ experience in fabricating and assembling silos,
conveyors, hoppers, structural steelwork, and mobile batching equipment
- Proven
ability to work from detailed technical drawings (in English)
- Capability
to work at heights of up to 6 metres
- Minimum
classification of C12 Welder
- Ability
to work independently and as part of a team
International Applicants
- A passport
valid for at least two years
- Willingness
to undertake a Trade Skills Assessment if required
- Ability
to develop a thorough understanding of relevant Australian standards
applicable to the equipment being manufactured
- Completion
of an IELTS or PTE English language test if necessary
