Job Description

Mercure Melbourne Doncaster is currently seeking an energetic, customer focused and experienced Maintenance Handyperson. Working closely with the Guest Services, Housekeeping and Reception teams, you will be responsible to ensure well maintained rooms and public areas. The ability to work on weekends is a must, locality and

Knowledge and Experience

· Demonstrated experience in general building maintenance including but not limited to;

Plumbing

Plaster Repairs 

Painting

Cleaning 

Tiling

Air Conditioning Maintenace

Mechanical 

Computerized Systems 

Previous experience working in hotel / resort / hospitality settings is preferred.

Experienced in operating a variety of equipment, including small hand tools.

· Basic computer skills.

· Good levels of written and spoken English.

Qualifications

· Qualifications in a Trade is preferred.·

· Must be physically fit to perform his/her duties with no serious illness.

· Service oriented with an eye for detail.
